Elizabeth specialises in clinical negligence claims at all levels and has developed a successful and wide-ranging practice. She is knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of clinical negligence and inquests, and is known for her attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to build excellent working relationships with lay clients, even in the most complex and emotive cases.
She has considerable experience in settlement negotiations, mediations, and joint settlement meetings, and is a CEDR-accredited civil and commercial mediator and an NHS Resolution approved panel mediator with Trust Mediation. Elizabeth combines her expertise in complex, high-value matters with a practical approach, earning a reputation as a robust and determined advocate and a fair and thorough mediator.

Elizabeth is instructed across the full spectrum of clinical negligence work. Her expertise spans obstetric, midwifery, and neonatal claims (including antenatal management, premature births, Cerebral Palsy, failed termination, and neonatal management), gynaecology, orthopaedics, general practice, gastroenterology/colorectal, neurology and neurosurgery, spinal surgery, paediatrics, oncology, anaesthetics and intensive care, nursing, A&E, cardiology, ophthalmology, geriatrics and care homes, ambulance and air ambulance services, dentistry and orthodontics, plastic surgery, psychiatric damage, and claims involving patients without capacity.
In addition, she is regularly instructed in inquests, particularly those involving healthcare-related deaths. She is also an accredited mediator, undertaking civil and commercial mediation work.
