OVERVIEW
Hundred Court Chambers is one of the largest common law sets on the Northern Circuit.
In 2025 Oriel Chambers and Atlantic Chambers, two of Liverpool’s oldest and most respected sets, merged to create Hundred Court Chambers. In a forever changing legal marketplace the merger significantly enhanced the levels of service that Chambers can provide for its clients, whilst additionally creating exciting opportunities for both members and staff in a Chambers with a progressive, modern and client focused mindset.
With roots dating back over one hundred years and with immense pride in its Northern presence, Hundred Court Chambers will build on the national reputation of both Oriel Chambers and Atlantic Chambers in providing the highest standards of service.
Hundred Court Chambers benefits from a strength and depth of Counsel across all specialist practice areas, with our barristers regularly appearing in Courts and Tribunals across the UK, up to and including the Supreme Court.

The name Hundred Court Chambers gets its inspiration from the medieval ‘Hundred Court’, once held in Allerton, Liverpool. Before courthouses existed, these courts convened in open-air settings, offering a place for gathering, deliberation and fair judgment. Adopting the Hundred Court name reflects our past heritage and joint vision, with deep local roots and a foundation of strength and integrity.

Our new state of the art premises in Exchange Station has created a collaborative working space for the benefit of our members and clients to work together in a modern and technologically advanced environment that reflects Chambers’ progressive and modern approach to its services.
