Professional bio
Teleri transferred to a career in law in 2005 having previously taught Philosophy and Ethics. She obtained a distinction in both the Graduate Diploma in Law and LPC and won a bursary with the Legal Aid Agency to complete her training contract. She qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and has practised exclusively in Family Law since then, securing membership of the Children Law Panel in 2015 and working in both private practice and as a Children’s Safeguarding Solicitor for a Local Authority.
Teleri completed her own advocacy as a solicitor and, driven by her passion for advocacy, transferred to the Bar and joined Atlantic Chambers as a tenant in August 2020. She practises exclusively as a Family Law Practitioner.
A farmer’s daughter, she prides herself on her down-to-earth nature and ability to put clients at ease during stressful and difficult circumstances. She is a mother of two, enjoys running, gardening, travelling, and returning to North Wales whenever possible. She is also a fluent Welsh speaker and can represent clients in both Welsh and English.

Teleri welcomes instructions in all children law matters, both public and private, as well as emergency injunctions. She has acted on behalf of parents, intervenors, children through their Children’s Guardians, and local authorities throughout all stages of public law proceedings, and she has extensive experience representing vulnerable clients.
In private law, she has represented parents, grandparents, and children at every stage, including multi-day contested final hearings and fact-finding hearings. She also has significant experience representing both applicants and respondents in Non-Molestation and Occupation Order applications.
