OVERVIEW

Members of the Hundred Court Police Law Group are available to assist with all Police Law matters.

This includes all non-criminal aspects of police law, including SPO; SRO; SHPO; DVPO; POCA; civil trials (with or without a jury) for unlawful detention; false imprisonment, assault/battery, misfeasance in public office; malicious prosecution and negligence; misconduct and disciplinary matters; personal injury claims involving police officers; closure orders; appeals concerning notification requirements; disclosure, including to/from other types of proceedings; acting as independent counsel for the purposes of a Legal Professional Privilege Review; Dangerous Dog Act matters; inquests and inquiries; judicial review and operational policing policy.
