Mark is recognised by the Legal 500 as a well-rounded advocate who specialises in civil litigation including high value complex claims, industrial disease, clinical negligence, credit hire and employers' liability matters. Mark also appears in cases involving police law including operational police applications, Inquests, civil actions against the police and judicial review.

Mark has handled a considerable personal injury practice for many years acting for many leading firms in Road traffic, employer's liability and public liability claims. He prides himself on his trial advocacy and ability to achieve great outcomes for his clients as well as providing advice, pleadings and advice in conference.
Mark has specialist experience in occupational disease claims including noise induced hearing loss (including military), hand arm vibration syndrome, occupational respiratory conditions including asbestos and work related upper limb disorders.
Mark has for many years been involved in credit hire litigation for Claimants and Defendants and is well versed in the range of issues involved in such claims.
Mark acts in police law matters at all levels including operational applications such as proceeds of crime, closure orders and a range of other civil orders and/or injunctions. He also acts for Claimants and Defendants in civil actions against the police including claims for false imprisonment, assault and malicious prosecution. Mark has represented police forces in Inquests and also in claims for Judicial Review.
