Professional bio
Samuel practises across a wide range of civil work. His current practice focuses on road traffic accident claims, including credit hire, as well as broader personal injury work. He is also experienced in public liability and employers’ liability claims.
Samuel appears in cases ranging from the Small Claims Track to the Multi-Track and undertakes Stage 3 and disposal hearings, infant approval hearings, interim applications, and costs and case management conferences. He also provides written advice, including on quantum for infant approval hearings, and drafts statements of case and schedules of loss.

Samuel undertakes significant work on behalf of police forces, representing them in the Magistrates’ Court and Youth Court in applications for Sexual Harm Prevention Orders, Domestic Violence Protection Orders, Stalking Protection Orders, Sexual Risk Orders, and Anti-Social Behaviour Injunctions. He also deals with police bail applications and matters involving the Proceeds of Crime Act.
In addition, Samuel has experience representing police forces at inquests. His mixed practice of personal injury and police law is complemented by his growing paperwork practice, where he provides timely and practical written advice.
