Professional bio
Lee practises in both criminal law and civil litigation, including extensive work for several police forces in civil applications arising from quasi-criminal cases. He is instructed by both prosecution and defence, and claimant and defendant, and has considerable experience handling serious and complex cases.
He is a member of the Crown Prosecution Service panel of approved prosecutors and is also on the specialist panel of advocates approved to prosecute sexual offences, including rape. Lee is experienced at both Crown Court and appellate level and is frequently instructed in high-profile and serious criminal matters.

In criminal law, Lee prosecutes and defends cases involving rape, drug trafficking, money laundering, explosives, serious assaults, and fraud. He also advises and appears in applications ancillary to criminal proceedings, including those under the Proceeds of Crime Act. He has experience in military Court Martial proceedings, defending soldiers accused of offences such as being Absent Without Leave.
In civil litigation, Lee represents both claimants and defendants across a wide range of cases. His experience includes applications to strike out, summary judgment, and applications to set aside judgment. He also handles restraining order applications, representing both applicants and respondents.
Lee is regularly instructed by police forces, including the Chief Constable of Merseyside Police and others nationwide, in relation to civil applications such as cash recovery under the Proceeds of Crime Act, dangerous dogs, sexual harm prevention orders, firearms certificates, closure orders, and similar applications. He is equally instructed by respondents to oppose such applications.
