Professional bio
Olivia transferred to the Bar in 2007, having previously practised as a solicitor and solicitor-advocate in both the UK and Australia. Her practice is focused on civil litigation, with particular emphasis on personal injury, road traffic accidents, public liability, highway claims, contractual disputes, Consumer Credit, and debt recovery.
She has particular expertise in credit hire cases, especially those involving enforceability and regulatory issues. Olivia is an experienced court advocate at fast and multi-track level and regularly provides advice and pleadings at short notice. She is also accredited for direct access work.

Olivia has a significant practice in claims against local authorities, including historical sexual abuse cases, vexatious actions, data protection claims, and matters arising from the “freeman on the land” movement. She has been involved in numerous closure orders and is considered to be the first to obtain a closure order against a shisha lounge for breaches of the Health Act 2006.
She is known for her ability to provide timely and pragmatic advice, often at short notice, and for accommodating urgent turnaround requests.
