Professional bio
Indy joined Chambers in 2024 after completing a chancery pupillage under the supervision of David Green. She studied English at the University of Birmingham before completing a Masters in Legal Science at Queen’s University, Belfast, and was called to the Bar in 2018.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Indy worked at LPC Law as a county court advocate for several years, undertaking a wide range of work in housing, debt recovery, consumer credit, and personal insolvency. She particularly specialised in housing possession matters.
Indy accepts instructions in all chancery and commercial matters and undertakes all aspects of advisory work, drafting, advocacy, and mediations in those areas in which she is instructed.

Her wills, probate, trusts, and family provision work includes contentious and non-contentious probate, Inheritance Act 1975 claims, TOLATA 1996 disputes, challenges to wills and testamentary documents (including undue influence, fraud/forgery, and testamentary capacity), construction and rectification of testamentary documents, trusts and beneficial interests, administration actions, intestate succession, executors and personal representatives, and caveats.
In land and property matters, Indy deals with adverse possession, trusts of land, proprietary estoppel, trespass, nuisance, boundary disputes, overage, orders for sale, easements, and options.
Her landlord and tenant practice covers possession claims, commercial and residential leases, 1954 Act business tenancies, forfeiture, rent and service charges, tenancy deposit claims, social housing, and disrepair claims.
In commercial law, Indy advises and appears in cases involving contract disputes and interpretation, debt claims, construction disputes, sale of goods, partnership dissolution and accounts, and directors’ disputes.
Insolvency is also a developing area of her practice, and she accepts instructions in personal bankruptcy (including bankruptcy petitions and set-aside applications) and corporate insolvency (including winding-up petitions and set-aside applications).
