Professional bio
James practises primarily in Personal Injury, acting for both Claimants and Defendants. He has over twenty years’ experience in Personal Injury. He specialises in high value, serious injury cases with complex issues of fact and law. He undertakes predominately Multi-Track value work.
Personal Injury
James’ practice typically encompasses advisory written work, drafting of Particulars of Claim/Defences, Schedules of Loss/Counter Schedules, CPR Part 35 questions etc., conferences with lay clients, professional clients and expert witnesses. His court work is focused on Costs and Case Management Hearings, Pre-Trial Reviews, Trials and Appeals. He also regularly undertakes Joint Settlement Meetings and is at ease working with Leading Counsel.
He is down-to-earth, well-liked by clients, easily contactable, available for urgent work and turns around paperwork quickly. He has an eye for detail and cuts through complex cases with pragmatic advice.
